Today, I visited a customers house for the 2nd Sunday running to offer some more free advice on what we could offer them, to dress every window in their house as they had just had new Windows throughout. Having spent about an hour there, going over all the options available for each individual Window, I offered some approximate costing as I still had things to work out before things were final.
They asked for a combination of curtains, Roman Blinds, plantation Shutters & Woodslat Venetians. At no point did I try to sell to them, I just advised. I walked away with a deposit cheque of £2,000 to get things moving without even agreeing on a finished price. Why? Because I could be bothered going out of my way, on a Sunday, when others couldn’t or wouldn’t.
